Eggs and Milk

Eggs are available from Old Grammar School. The stock is now at the gate so you can see more easily if there is any left – please bear with us as we try to increase the flock!

£2.50 a dozen/£1.30 half dozen

Trips to Bassingthorpe Milk take place on Tuesday and Friday. £1 per litre of fresh full fat pasteurised milk. £2 per reusable bottle or provide own container. Please put all orders in the box at the gate of Old Grammar School clearly naming your bottle and put correct money in payment box – preferably in pound coins and please label it.  Your milk will be delivered straight to your door on day of collection.

Sids At Bottesford – Fruit and Veg

Sid’s has changed opening times to Tuesday – Saturday 8am – 3pm. Please wait outside to be served and observe social distancing and avoid picking up the produce.

Jorge’s at the Engine Yard

The above link has been recommended by Rachael Yates.  The food is quite pricey but fantastic quality and top class ingredients and his own made sauces, soups, jams, etc. He’s very happy to deliver locally and will have fresh bread every Friday. Amazing local cheeses too! He’s thinking of making up some boxes of food with meal suggestions, incase people are a bit intimidated by the shop. Hollis Road Plants

For anyone struggling with boredom, how about purchasing some plants for the garden and having them delivered straight to your door.  Hollis Road Plants usually do a huge plant sale in Grantham every spring and sell everything from bedding plants to veg.  They have a Facebook page outlining stock and prices.  Click here for details.
